Sometimes a partnership has run its course and knowing when to let it go is for the best. If you cannot even picture a future with said person, going any further into the relationship is useless on all fronts. Depending on the situation people start to drift apart and/or begin imagining themselves with another person either way its best to try to end it on good terms or risk staying in an unhappy environment and eventually having it end on very bad terms.
