2020 is the year of empowerment.
You need to know that you can train your mind just like any other muscle in your body. If you choose do so (and I hope you will) you will have the ability get over any obstacle in life that you might find being thrown your way. 
As difficult as it may seem to train your mind in this life, especially in moments and situations that really test your ability to even try, it will pay off big in the long run.
The moment I truly decided to incorporate many of these philosophies into my everyday life I started to notice EVERYTHING becoming better. Although it is still a work in progress, as many things in life are (and that is OK), I have been seeing more of those “amazing ups in life” and finding myself able to more effectively to get through those “terrible lows”  that can sneak up on you in life.

Confidence is like a muscle, everyone has it but most people do not know how to flex it! And like any muscle you want to grow stronger YOU HAVE GOT TO WORK IT OUT. So here are some of my favorite tips to exercising that self confidence muscle.



  1.  Optimism goes a long way on this journey. This is the biggest first step toward self confidence! This is just not a road that a pessimist can walk. 
  2. Music can change the world, it can soothe and just bring that great feeling into your life. So enjoy some tunes to lift that mood and expand that mindset. 
  3.  On the journey of change remember not to get down on yourself if you back-step in confidence here and there. This is your journey it is at your pace! nobody else's 
  4. Don't compare yourself to others in the slightest. You are a unique person so please i beg of you do not try to be like anybody else. Its a complete waste of time and effort. 
  5. Don't obsess over what you cannot do and instead trade that obsession for what you can accomplish ! You can get a lot done when you shift that focus into a positive area. 
  6. Find a nice support system of trusted people who you can talk to about your insecurities. This includes friends, family, and support groups. Talking it out can go a long way in pinpointing the reasons for the insecurities.
  7. Right and wrong on this road is very subjective so keep in mind that everyone's journey to self confidence is different even if the destination is the same. 
  8. This last one is an absolute MUST once you have attained self confidence pass it on to the next person. You just never know who needs that extra boost of self confidence at any given time. helping others will help you as well as them. 
  9. Good luck to you all though the journey will not necessarily be easy it will always be worth it in the end.
